Our Sustainability Journey
By 2050, the UK government has committed to reach Net Zero. A study in 2020 revealed that businesses are responsible for 18% of greenhouse gas emissions, leading many to embark on the quest to become net zero. We’re making changes to reduce light pollution and lessen our impact on the eco-system. These changes focus on our manufacturing processes, product packaging, product design, lighting techniques and more.
Light Pollution and DarkSky
We actively work to combat light pollution and protect eco systems so much so we try to raise awareness of the negative impacts our industry can have on the environment. Members of DarkSky International, many of our products have the DarkSky 'Seal of Approval' ensuring their suitability for areas with high environmental concern.
Carbon Reduction and Circular Economy
We are on a journey to become net zero; to achieve this, we are reviewing our processes and services to cut down on the emissions we produce. In terms of carbon emissions, we hold Scope 1 and 2, and we’re working towards Scope 3.
All vehicles in our fleet conform with EURO 6 compliance standards, reducing emissions and harmful pollutants entering the atmosphere.
