International Day of Light 2024

Join us in celebrating UNESCO’s International Day of Light!

 

Born from a common desire to promote peace and security through education, arts and technology, the specialised United Nations agency is working to build understanding of the importance of light and the sustainable development of light-based technology.

 

Kingfisher’s research and development team are continually looking at sustainable light sources and manufacturing processes to bring light to the world in a more environmentally and human-centric way.

 

Circular Economy

We have developed a dedicated fitting that fully supports the circular economy model. This luminaire not only boasts powerful performance, but all parts can be fully dismantled for recycling or repurposing.  Learn more about CIRECO

 

Safety

Safety is one of the key factors when designing lighting schemes for public spaces. With leaps in LED technology, we are one of the only manufacturers in the UK to offer post top luminaires with emergency capabilities. Our system allows for 3hr emergency lighting to be triggered in the event of power outages, alongside powerful day to day functions in non-emergency mode.

 

With low colour temperatures and our bespoke optical systems, we can guarantee visual comfort for site users as well as ecological protection.
