What is your job title?

Operations Manager

 

How long have you worked at Kingfisher Lighting?

Almost 5 years.

 

Have you ever had a different role within Kingfisher Lighting?

No.

 

What does your job role entail?

I oversee the logistics, manufacturing and transport operations for Kingfisher in addition to managing and maintaining the ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications.

In other words, I make sure every order that comes through the door is manufactured, picked, packed and distributed within the agreed timescales. I also have involvement with wider pats of the business which I personally enjoy as it gives me a total working knowledge of the business.

 

What’s your favourite thing about being part of the Kingfisher Family?

Without any doubt, it has to be the people.

 

What’s your greatest professional achievement so far at Kingfisher?

It has to be passing my International Transport Managers CPC back in 2021.

 

What are the values that drive you?

Accountability, (brutal so I’m told) honesty, precision (I hate getting things wrong first time.)

 

Give us a fun fact about you.

I hold a UK racing license which allows me to race cars competitively.

 

What's the most interesting thing you can see out of your office window?

All of the warehouse, I like to see what’s happening so my desk is positioned in the perfect spot to see every function.
