How long have you worked at Kingfisher Lighting?

5 years

 

Have you ever had a different role within Kingfisher Lighting?

I worked in the projects team but I have solely worked for Sport and High Mast for the last 2 years.

 

What does your job role entail?

The main part of my role involves supporting the sales engineers. I process quotes and orders, ensuring they are delivered in a timely manner. I’m also responsible for liaising with clients, keeping them updated on the project status and addressing any concerns they have.

I work closely with the installation team to see projects through to completion and overall contribute to the smooth running of the department, consulting other departments across Kingfisher where needed.

 

What’s your favourite thing about being part of the Kingfisher Family?

The people we work with across the business and especially within our office, it’s full of personalities and joy to be around every day.

 

What’s your greatest professional achievement so far at Kingfisher?

Being part of Sport and High Mast team and seeing how it has developed over the last 5 years. I’m also proud of my personal growth within the department, allowing me to take on extra responsibility.

Give us a fun fact about you.

I have recently started playing Netball and Joined a team, I play Wing defence for Team Block it!

 

What's the most interesting thing you can see out of your office window?

All of the warehouse, I like to see what’s happening so my desk is positioned in the perfect spot to see every function.
